Vectra GT
2010
Art Direction, Computer Animation, Motion Graphics
Spots developed for the web campaign for the release of GM's Vectra GT in Brazil. 3 spots that show the features of the car, all done using 3D modelling and animation, and a lot of compositing.
- A Rendering Challenge! This is a job that I'm really proud of. It was made on the early days of our Animation Studio, thanks to our previous relationship with the guys from NuYoung Creative Agency (www.nuyoung.com.br), who fully trusted in our work and gave us the opportunity to make a really beautiful piece. Our goal was to actually replicate the car in 3D and make it seamless. We also had the challenge to create cool and fun backgrounds, and animate them as the car passed by.Originally, there were 3 different spot, 15 seconds each, but we combined them into one and since they had no audio, we put some Led Zeppelin on, hopefully they won't mind and neither will you.We also created some more elements for the website, like the loading loops that are at the bottom. It took about a month to complete the job, about a week inside that month was to render all the 3D passes.Enjoy

- Loading Loops
We also produced a few loading loops for the website, since the videos were a little bit large in size. They were supposed to be upside down to reflect the whole concept that this is no ordinary car.
